Julius advises in all aspects of Family Law, including:

  • A strong financial and Children Act practice
  • A wide range of cases with complex financial structures and a range of clients with international issues
  • Family Law Act applications and injunctions
  • Appeals – including acting for both appellants and respondents
  • Cases involving Schedule 1 Children Act claims
  • Cohabitee claims
  • International child relocation and extensive case experience (including a recently reported case on temporary leave to remove to a Non-Hague country).

Julius has an extensive network of international connections and quite often deals with matters where cross-jurisdictional advice is needed. Julius has dealt with a number of vulnerable and difficult emotional situations and is respected by his client base for his down-to-earth approach in their cases. Julius is personable and has good judgement and comes up with sensible legal solutions for each of his clients. Julius’ clients respect his perseverance and sound judgement in working towards achieving a successful outcome.

Outside of the office Julius completed a Master of Arts in Modern War Studies and Contemporary Military History in 2023 (with Merit). He is currently studying a part-time PhD at the University of Buckingham, also in Modern War Studies, and received the 2024 Bond University Global Alumni Scholarship to study the same. He enjoys a busy and social family life with two adult children at university, walking long distances and cycling as well as travelling and raising money for various charities.

Julius is a Resolution member and a Committee member on the Anglo-Australasian Lawyers Society.
