Steven has spent two significant periods working with international oil exploration project and trading companies in areas as diverse as Sub-Saharan West Africa and the Siberia region of Russia. Between 1998 and 2005 Steven was Group Legal Director for an international tax advisory and corporate services company with fourteen offices worldwide.

Steven has spent 40 or so years of his professional life variously between private practice and as “inhouse counsel”, principally specialising in corporate acquisitions (both domestic and international), joint ventures, licensing, distribution and agency agreements and the related tax issues, particularly in the application of double taxation treaties.
